You don't. However, you may choose electives within your interest area, thus creating an emphasis within the major.
If I am on the old MFHD program (before fall 2004) do I have to take MFHD 451?
No. You may take either MFHD 451 or any 300-400 level MFHD elective in its place.
Is HFL 260 the same course as HFL 350?
Yes.
Can I minor in Family Life if I am an MFHD/HFL/FCSE major?
You may, technically, but it's not advisable or beneficial for you to do so.
How many major hours must be complete in residency?
MFHD requires 18 hours of UPPER DIVISION hours; HFL/FCSE requires 15 hours.
Do I have to apply to the FCSE major?
No, all you need to do is declare the major.
